We condemn vehemently the attack on Jewish settlers who vandalized and hurled firebombs in a West Bank mosque today .
The Palestinian Authority says a group of Israeli settlers has tried to burn down a mosque near the West Bank city of Ramallah
The attack on the mosque occured after midnight, spray painting anti-Palestinian slogans in Hebrew and then hurling fire bombs inside that burned part of the structure.
The mosque in el-Bireh, near Ramallah, had its walls spread with writings of claiming the Jews owns the lands of the Palestine.
We affirm that the Israeli government is fully responsible for the attack.
The israeli regime had opened the way for settlers to take the Palestinian lands.
This is a clear intimidation to terrorize the local Palestinians.
The so-called “price tag” attacks that hard-line nationalist Israelis have been known to carry out against Arabs in recent years are intentional and the israeli government had given a free hand for the settlers to launch an attack.
These attacks have mostly been directed at Palestinians.
The Palestinians have legitimate rights to defend their lands and any intimidation on mosque will not be tolerated.
