CHARLIE HEBDO PROVOCATION INVITES CONDEMNATION AND MUSLIMS OUTRAGE

Charlie Hebdo is playing with fire when it express that it will repeat Prophet Muhammed cartoons.

The French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has chosen to reprint cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) to mark the beginning of the trial of 14 alleged accomplices for their involvement in the 2015 attack on the publication, the Times reports.

We see this a deliberate intimidation and an uncivilize action from a publication.

The publisher of the magazine seems to be an agent of hatred campaign by attacking the sanctity of religion particulary on Islam.

It wants to create anger between religious communities under the name of freedom according to the law of France.

The caricature of the prophet were first printed by a Danish newspaper in 2006.

It has full knowledge of the reaction that will be strongly expressed by Muslims and yet it wants to continue repeating the publication of the denigrading cartoons of the Prophet.

The attacks was the result of such blesphemous publication intentionally to provoke a violent reaction.

The decision to republish the cartoons is equavalent to declaring a showdown with Muslims.

We register our unequivocal objection to the French law not prohibiting attacks on religions.

Though religious leaders, including Mohammed Moussaoui, head of the French Council of Muslim Worship, have called for a calm reaction to the publication, urging readers to ignore the cartoons , however there can be no assurance of violence not taking place by such insult to a religion.

The Paris-based magazine is known for its caricatures of and satirical attacks on religious leaders and has faced attacks over its cartoons before.

We demand the French government to take firm action to stop this uncivilsed publication. The freedom of expression that creates tension amongst communities may impact beyond the borders of France.
