The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns the genocidal destruction of Gaza by Israel, with full military, financial, and political backing from the United States. The latest UN, EU, and World Bank report estimates that Gaza’s reconstruction will require $53.2 billion, with damages exceeding $49 billion due to relentless Israeli aggression.

We emphasize that the US and Israel must be held fully accountable for these war crimes and that the financial burden of rebuilding Gaza must be placed entirely on the aggressors, not on the Palestinian people or the international community.

1. Israel and the US Must Pay for Gaza’s Reconstruction

MAPIM demands that the United Nations, the Arab League, and international legal bodies:

● Hold Israel and the US financially liable for the complete reconstruction of Gaza.

● Reject any attempts to place the burden on Palestinian or international aid funds.

● Sue US-based arms manufacturers and Israel for war crimes and their role in the destruction of Gaza’s homes, hospitals, and schools.

2. Total Rejection of Trump’s Plan to “Take Over” Gaza

● MAPIM condemns former US President Donald Trump’s colonial plan to depopulate Gaza, forcing Palestinians into exile while transforming the Strip into a “Middle East Riviera.”

● We demand the Arab League and Muslim-majority nations fully reject this neocolonial plan.

● No foreign-imposed governance in Gaza—Palestinians alone have the right to determine their leadership.

3. Legal Action Against US and Israeli War Crimes

● MAPIM urges immediate legal action against Israel and the US for:

● Genocide and ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.

● War crimes and crimes against humanity through the systematic targeting of civilians.

● Economic warfare through the illegal siege on Gaza that has caused mass starvation and suffering.

4. Permanent Rejection of Normalization with Israel

● MAPIM calls for an end to diplomatic and economic ties with Israel, including:

● The nullification of the Abraham Accords and all normalization deals.

● A full-scale boycott of Israeli goods and companies complicit in apartheid.

● Immediate withdrawal of all Arab and Muslim countries from trade and security agreements with Israel.

5. Immediate Lifting of the Gaza Siege

● MAPIM calls on the Arab League, the OIC, and the UN to enforce the unconditional lifting of Israel’s blockade on Gaza.

● The opening of all border crossings, particularly Rafah, must be prioritized.

● A Palestinian-led reconstruction plan must be implemented without Israeli interference.

6. A Unified Muslim Response to Rebuild Palestine

● MAPIM urges the creation of a $20 billion Arab-Muslim Reconstruction Fund, financed by OIC member states, to:

● Rebuild Gaza’s housing, hospitals, and schools.

● Support Palestinian economic recovery without reliance on Western aid.

● Finance legal action against Israel and its Western backers.

MAPIM holds Israel and the US fully responsible for the destruction of Gaza. Justice demands that the aggressors, not the victims, bear the costs of rebuilding. We reject any imposed solutions that compromise Palestinian sovereignty and call on the Muslim world to take decisive action against Israel’s war crimes.
