The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) denounces in the strongest terms the shocking admission by Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who revealed that senior Republican Party officials openly endorsed the bombing of food and aid depots in Gaza — a direct assault on the most basic principles of humanity.
During a gathering at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, attended by top Republican figures and businessmen, Ben-Gvir boasted of receiving support for his criminal call to intensify the suffering of Gaza’s already devastated population. Among those reported present was Republican House Majority Whip Tom Emmer. The Republican Party has yet to issue a denial, revealing a deafening and shameful silence.
This is a moral catastrophe.
By siding with Israel’s extremist, genocidal agenda, senior Republicans have exposed themselves as slaves to Zionist tyranny, abandoning any shred of conscience, legality, or human decency.
To endorse the deliberate targeting of food supplies — a war crime under international law — is to align with mass murder.
It is to stand with an apartheid regime that has weaponized starvation against a besieged civilian population.
MAPIM declares:
- The Republican Party’s complicity makes them partners in Israel’s war crimes.
- The American people must wake up to the betrayal committed by those who claim to represent liberty and justice.
- Every supporter of Palestinian liberation must hold accountable not just Israel, but also the foreign powers enabling its atrocities.
The era of pretending that the United States is an “honest broker” in Palestine is over.
Those who bomb food to starve a people into submission deserve only global condemnation.
MAPIM calls upon the Muslim Ummah, the free peoples of the world, and every person of conscience to rise against this barbarity. Silence is complicity.
We will not forget. We will not forgive. And we will not stop until Palestine is free.
