Massacre After Massacre in Gaza – From Worst to Unimaginable, While Arab Countries and the World Stand and Watch
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) expresses its utmost outrage and deepest sorrow over the continued, intensified, and systematic massacre of the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Zionist occupation regime. What began as a brutal siege has now descended into the depths of genocide — with entire communities wiped out, infrastructure reduced to rubble, and no sanctuary left, not even for the unborn.
This is not a war. This is extermination. Entire families are being erased from civil records. Homes, hospitals, and refugee shelters are targeted with ruthless precision. The atrocities are so heinous that the dismembered bodies of children are being collected in plastic bags. Limbs and heads are scattered among the debris. Parents are seen carrying what is left of their children in their bare hands. What brutality can be ascribed worse than this?
Despite more than 250 days of relentless bombardment, the massacre has escalated further. Refugee camps like Jabalia have been turned into graveyards. Hospitals such as Al-Shifa and Al-Nasser have been stormed, looted, and attacked repeatedly. Schools, UN shelters, and aid convoys have become targets. Starvation is now used as a weapon of war — a deliberate, coordinated campaign to destroy a people.
And yet, the neighbouring Arab regimes remain shamefully silent and passive. Their borders are closed. Their armies are inactive. Their voices are muted. Their massive resources and military capabilities are withheld, while Gaza burns. The so-called custodians of the Ummah have failed in the eyes of history, humanity, and God.
The international community, particularly the powerful Western states and institutions that boast of defending human rights, has proven to be morally bankrupt. Lip service and hollow resolutions are all that have been offered. The UN, shackled by veto powers, is complicit in paralysis. The ICC delays, and justice remains a distant dream. The world watches a genocide unfold — in high definition — and does nothing.
MAPIM strongly declares:
- This is genocide. The Zionist regime’s actions in Gaza meet all criteria under the Genocide Convention — including mass killing, deliberate starvation, targeting of children, and the systematic destruction of life. Silence is complicity.
- Arab governments must be held accountable. Their continued inaction is a betrayal of the Palestinian cause and a disgrace to the honour of the Ummah.
- We demand immediate international military intervention to stop the genocide. Enough talk. Gaza needs protection, not pity. The siege must be broken by force under the principle of Responsibility to Protect (R2P).
- Global civil society must rise. Protests must swell in every capital. Boycotts must deepen. Sanctions must be people-led. Israel and every government enabling its crimes must be made to feel the cost of impunity.
- Malaysia must lead. We urge the Malaysian government to:
●Table an emergency motion at the OIC and UN General Assembly.
●Reject all forms of normalization with Israel.
●Support legal action at the ICJ and ICC.
●Rally ASEAN and the Global South to declare and act against the genocide.
- We call upon the Ummah. From Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur, from Dakar to Jakarta — rise for Gaza. Fill the mosques with supplication and the streets with resistance. Demand your leaders act. The Qur’an commands it. The Prophet (SAW) lived it. The people of Gaza die by it. Conclusion
What we are witnessing is not only a humanitarian catastrophe — it is a test of our shared conscience. The blood of Gaza cries out. To remain silent now is to be an accomplice in murder. History will remember who stood, and who stood by.
