CONGRATULATIONS TO PMX FOR HIS FIRM STAND – EXPOSING THE WEST’S HYPOCRISY ON ISRAEL’S AGGRESSION AGAINST IRAN

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) extends its highest appreciation and full support to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (PMX), for his firm and courageous condemnation of Israel’s violent aggression against Iran and his bold exposure of the blatant hypocrisy of Western powers in dealing with international acts of terror.

PMX’s statement denouncing Israel and calling out the double standards of major global powers is a principled and brave stance. It reflects the voice of the majority of Malaysians and Muslims worldwide who are fed up with the selective morality and protection afforded to Israel by the so-called defenders of international law.

Israel’s attack on Iran constitutes an open act of war and is a gross violation of the principles of the United Nations Charter. It adds to the long list of war crimes committed by the Zionist regime which have gone unpunished. Even more alarming is the continued silence and complicity of Western powers who not only fail to hold Israel accountable but actively arm and politically support its crimes.

We view PMX’s bold stand as:

1. A moral and strategic position urgently needed in a world riddled with geopolitical hypocrisy.
2. A principled voice from the Muslim World that dares to speak truth amidst growing silence and fear.
3. A critical step in leading a Global South and Muslim solidarity movement to resist imperial arrogance and the neo-colonial Zionist regime.

MAPIM urges that this position be translated into concrete actions such as:

● Mobilizing a special OIC summit to unite the voice of the Muslim world against Israel’s aggression.

● Asserting Malaysia’s firm position in the UN and international platforms to demand action against Israel.

● Building a political-economic bloc of the Global South free from the hegemony of imperial powers.

● Strengthening international civil society networks in support of the struggle of Palestine, Iran, and all oppressed nations.

PMX’s leadership in this matter is a clear indication that Malaysia will not bow to the geopolitical pressure of global powers, but will uphold sovereignty, international justice, and the solidarity of all oppressed peoples.

MAPIM emphasizes that Israel’s aggression towards Iran and its continued massacre of Palestinians in Gaza must not be normalized or ignored. The world must choose: stand for justice or be complicit in crimes against humanity.

We will continue to support the Prime Minister’s stand and call upon all Malaysians to unite in voice and action against Zionist violence and in defense of truth and justice without compromise.
