MAPIM , MANAR and SHURA Urge Malaysia to Join Pakistan’s Call for Emergency OIC Session in Support of Iran
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) , MANAR and SHURA strongly urge the Government of Malaysia to immediately support Pakistan’s call for an emergency session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in light of the escalating threats and aggression against Iran.
We emphasize that in the face of ongoing provocations, military threats, and violations of sovereignty targeting Iran, it is imperative for the Muslim world to stand united. Iran, as a founding member of the OIC and a vital part of the Islamic Ummah, must not be left isolated amid increasing Western-backed hostility.
We stand in solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran and commends Pakistan for its principled stance in defending the sovereignty and security of a fellow Muslim nation. Malaysia, as a prominent and respected member of the OIC, should take a bold and moral position by backing Pakistan’s initiative and calling for immediate collective action by the Muslim world.
We call for the emergency session to address:
●The ongoing threats and acts of war by Israel and its allies against Iran.
●The need for unified Muslim diplomatic, economic, and strategic support for Iran.
●The urgency of preventing further destabilization of the region which directly impacts all OIC member states.
●A strong reaffirmation of the OIC’s charter to defend any member state from external aggression.
We reiterate that the unity of the Ummah must be demonstrated not only in words but in decisive actions. Malaysia’s leadership is crucial in mobilizing ASEAN’s Muslim-majority nations to echo this urgent call for Islamic solidarity.
Malaysia must not remain silent. Now is the time to act.
