To
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Government of Türkiye:
Assalamualaikum wrwb
TÜRKIYE MUST NOW ACT — MOVE BEYOND RHETORIC AND HARD WORDS
Leadership Requires Action, Not Just Condemnation
The Muslim world has long looked to Türkiye as a key regional power, a nation with historic responsibility, moral authority, and strategic capacity to stand against Zionist tyranny and Western aggression. Yet today, the time for mere words has expired.
Trump’s threat to assassinate the Supreme Leader of Iran, backed by the genocidal alliance of the U.S. and Israel, is not just an attack on Iran — it is an assault on every sovereign Muslim nation, and on the dignity of the entire Ummah.
We call upon Türkiye to:
✅ Invoke regional defense alliances under D-8 and OIC to prepare collective deterrence;
✅ Deploy diplomatic and economic pressure by cutting all military, intelligence, and trade channels with Israel and its allies;
✅ Activate a Muslim-led defense pact to protect any nation targeted for destruction by U.S.-Israel hegemony;
✅ Coordinate with Iran, Qatar, Pakistan, and other willing nations to build a united front against further Western aggression.
Strong speeches are not enough.
Statements of condemnation are not enough.
Historical references and fiery rhetoric are not enough.
Now is the time for Türkiye to rise beyond diplomacy and take decisive leadership on the ground.
If Türkiye fails to act while Iran is threatened, while Gaza burns, and while Western powers prepare for war, the Ummah will question your role and readiness to lead.
Real power is not in military might alone, but in the courage to defend justice when it matters most.
And now, it matters most.
Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid
Presiden MAPIM.
