PALESTINIANS IN GAZA HAVE STOOD THEIR GROUND FOR 22 MONTHS — WHY ARE THEY STILL BEING FORCED TO LEAVE ?
For 22 long, unrelenting months, the people of Gaza — families, children, elderly, the wounded and displaced — have refused to surrender. Despite famine, aerial bombardments, chemical attacks, siege, and systematic destruction of hospitals, schools, and mosques, they have stood firm on their land. Their courage is unmatched in modern history.
So why, after surviving the worst man-made humanitarian catastrophe of our time, is the world still watching silently as they are pushed to flee their homeland?
This is not about “security” or “conflict.” This is ethnic cleansing. This is settler-colonialism in its raw, brutal form — demolish, starve, terrorize, and finally depopulate. Gaza is being emptied, not by accident, but by design.
Israel wants the land, not the people.
The so-called “safe zones” are killing fields. The humanitarian corridors are traps. The forced displacement is a war crime under international law. And yet, global powers remain complicit — either through silence or arms sales.
The resilience of Palestinians is not a justification to prolong their suffering. It is a call to the conscience of the world.
Gaza does not need more sympathy. Gaza needs protection, justice, and the right to exist on its own land.
To force them to leave after all they’ve endured is to finish what the bombs have not. We must rise now — in every capital, in every pulpit, in every parliament — to say:
No to forced displacement. No to genocide. Yes to the right of Palestinians to live and return in dignity.
