MAPIM CALLS FOR SUPPORT TO FLOTILLA FROM WORLD CELEBRITIES – THIS TIME OR NEVER – BREAK THE SIEGE NOW!

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) urgently calls upon world celebrities, influencers, artists, athletes, and public figures of conscience to lend their voices and presence in support of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition that is preparing to sail to Gaza with vital humanitarian aid.
For 18 years, the people of Gaza have been trapped under a cruel and illegal blockade, facing bombardments, starvation, and systematic destruction of their homes, schools, hospitals, and livelihood. The recent massacres, mass starvation, and deliberate targeting of civilians make it clear that this siege is a slow genocide.
The flotilla represents a moral, humanitarian, and historical mission. When governments fail to act decisively against Israel’s crimes, people of conscience must rise. World celebrities – whose influence reaches millions – must step forward to amplify this cause and expose the injustice that continues with impunity.
MAPIM stresses: This time or never. The urgency cannot be overstated. If the world allows Israel to starve Gaza into submission, humanity has failed. If celebrities who campaign for animal rights, climate change, or humanitarian causes remain silent, history will question their conscience.
We call upon:
- Celebrities worldwide to endorse and accompany the flotilla mission.
- Athletes and sports icons to speak up and dedicate their platforms to Gaza’s right to live.
- Artists and musicians to create and perform in solidarity, sending the message of hope and defiance against tyranny.
- Influencers to mobilize global citizens, especially the youth, to press their governments to demand Israel lift the blockade.
- Nobel Laureates and moral voices to declare their stand for justice and human dignity.
The flotilla is not merely a convoy of aid – it is a symbol of the world’s refusal to normalize genocide. It is a call to break the chains of siege and to stand where governments dare not.
MAPIM affirms that we will be part of this global mission, and we urge all people of conscience to act. The eyes of history are upon us – will we remain silent, or will we break the siege now?
