CONGRATULATORY NOTE

On the Occasion of Defence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
6 September 2025

The Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the commemoration of Defence Day.

This solemn day marks not only the valor, sacrifice, and resilience of the Pakistani Armed Forces in defending the sovereignty of the nation, but also the unbreakable spirit of the people of Pakistan in upholding their independence and dignity against aggression.

On this occasion, MAPIM pays tribute to the countless martyrs who gave their lives for the defence of the homeland, and we salute the enduring resolve of Pakistan to safeguard its sovereignty, unity, and security.

Pakistan’s Defence Day is not only a national remembrance but also a reminder to the Muslim Ummah of the necessity of strength, unity, and preparedness in the face of threats and oppression. It is a call to rise above divisions and to hold firm to the principle that the defence of one Muslim nation is the defence of the entire Ummah.

We stand in solidarity with Pakistan as it continues to play a pivotal role in the cause of justice, particularly in defending the oppressed peoples of Palestine, Kashmir, and beyond.

May Allah bless Pakistan with continued strength, stability, and success in fulfilling its mission as a beacon of resilience and dignity for the Muslim world.
