CUKUPLAH KONFERENSI SIMBOLIK NEGARA ARAB/ISLAM — BERTINDAK SEKARANG
September 19, 2025Reflections on China’s 76th National Day: Wisdom, Discipline, and Global Humanity
October 1, 2025PRESS STATEMENT
MAPIM CALLS: NO MORE ARAB/ISLAMIC STATES CONFERENCES — ACT NOW
Stop Condemnation Mode. Stop Rhetoric. Stop Lying to the World.
For immediate release
MAPIM (Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia) issues an urgent call to Islamic governments, international organisations and world leaders: the era of endless condemnations, empty rhetoric and diplomatic posturing must end. Words without action have allowed genocide, occupation and collective punishment to continue. If Arab and Islamic states do not act decisively now, they risk enabling the full control of West Asia by the United States and Israel — with catastrophic consequences for the Palestinian people and regional stability.
MAPIM demands immediate, coordinated and practical action on five (5) non-negotiable points:
- No more symbolic conferences — form protection forces now.
All 57 OIC member states must immediately form, fund and deploy multinational peace-keeping and protection contingents to Gaza to protect civilians and secure humanitarian corridors. - End condemnation mode — deliver aid now.
Immediately lift bureaucratic and political barriers: all available humanitarian aid — medical teams, medicines, food, fuel and shelter supplies — must be transported into Gaza without delay. - Break the siege permanently.
Ensure the complete and permanent lifting of the blockade of Gaza so that people, goods and essential services can move freely and hospitals and relief agencies can operate. - Withdraw the occupation forces.
Israel Defence Forces (IDF)/Occupying forces must withdraw from Gaza and the West Bank. The sovereignty, dignity, and safety of Palestinians must be restored under an internationally supervised process. - Accountability, protection and long-term justice.
Establish an independent international mechanism to monitor protection, investigate alleged war crimes, and to ensure justice, reparations and guarantees of non-repetition.
MAPIM reiterates: diplomacy without consequences has failed the Palestinian people. Governments that persist in empty statements should expect the moral and political consequences of failing to act — including unified civil society measures, international legal steps, mass mobilisation and global solidarity actions coordinated across the Ummah and allied partners.
We call on all humanitarian actors, faith bodies, labour unions, student groups and citizens of conscience to join MAPIM in demanding immediate action and to stand in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
Signed,
Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid
President, MAPIM
