*ISRAEL MENANG DALAM PERANG, TETAPI KALAH DALAM PERTEMPURAN
October 7, 2025Israel May Have Won the War, But It Has Lost the Battle

Introduction
The war on Gaza has revealed, once again, the brutal nature of Israel’s military aggression and its disregard for international law and human decency. While the Zionist regime may boast of its “victory” in destroying Gaza’s infrastructure, killing tens of thousands, and suppressing resistance through sheer force, the moral, political, and psychological consequences of this war tell a very different story.
Israel may have won the war of weapons, but it has lost the battle of legitimacy. It may control the battlefield through bombs, but it has lost control over the narrative, the conscience of the world, and even the stability of its own internal front.
The War That Changed Global Consciousness
The two-year period since the October 2023 genocide in Gaza has reshaped global awareness. The “Taufan Al-Aqsa” operation not only broke Israel’s illusion of invincibility but also ignited an awakening across the Muslim world and among peoples of conscience everywhere.
The brutality of Israel’s actions—targeting hospitals, schools, journalists, and refugees—has exposed its true character as a settler-colonial and apartheid regime. Every image of a bombed child, every demolished mosque, every mass grave uncovered has added another crack to Israel’s moral facade.
Social media, alternative journalism, and the courageous reporting of Palestinian voices have shifted public opinion. No longer can Israel hide behind the propaganda shield provided by Western governments. The people of the world now see Gaza not as a “terrorist enclave” but as a symbol of steadfastness (sumud) and resistance against oppression.
Israel’s Pyrrhic Victory
In military terms, Israel may claim victory—it has destroyed much of Gaza, killed leaders of the resistance, and imposed unbearable conditions on its people. Yet, what has it truly achieved?
- Strategic Failure:
Despite its massive military superiority, Israel has failed to eliminate the resistance. Hamas and other groups continue to operate underground, maintaining influence and morale among Palestinians. - Moral Collapse:
The world has witnessed Israel’s crimes live on screen. The deliberate bombing of civilians, the siege on humanitarian aid, and the use of starvation as a weapon have eroded any moral high ground Israel once claimed. - Political Isolation:
Israel’s actions have triggered unprecedented global protests. From Washington to Kuala Lumpur, millions have marched demanding an end to Israeli impunity. Governments that once unconditionally supported Israel now face internal political pressure to reconsider their positions. - Internal Division:
Israeli society itself is fractured—between secular and religious groups, between those who demand total annihilation of Gaza and those who now fear endless war. The government of Netanyahu stands discredited both domestically and internationally.
Thus, Israel’s so-called “victory” is hollow. It is a victory that breeds long-term defeat—militarily unsustainable, politically costly, and morally bankrupt.
The Rise of the Global Ummah and the People’s Front for Palestine
The most significant outcome of this war is the awakening of the Ummah. Across the Muslim world, a new consciousness is emerging—one that sees the struggle for Palestine as integral to the struggle for the dignity of Islam and humanity.
Movements like MANAR (World Mosque Alliance to Defend Al-Aqsa), MAPIM, SHURA, and PUM in Malaysia, together with the Global Coalition for Al-Quds and Palestine (GCBP), represent a growing civil society front committed to continuous mobilization for Palestinian liberation.
This wave of solidarity transcends political borders and sectarian divisions. From Jakarta to Istanbul, from Johannesburg to London, voices of conscience are rising in unity. This is not merely a protest movement—it is the formation of a global people’s resistance network against Zionism, imperialism, and moral hypocrisy.
Malaysia’s Role in the New Era of Palestinian Solidarity
Malaysia has long stood on the right side of history regarding Palestine. However, the post-2023 reality demands a renewed, proactive stance. Malaysia must move from symbolic solidarity to strategic engagement.
This includes:
● Leading diplomatic pressure to isolate Israel in international forums and revive calls to expel it from the United Nations.
● Supporting global legal action against Israeli war criminals under the International Criminal Court and the ICJ framework.
● Strengthening people’s diplomacy by empowering NGOs, labor unions, students, and mosque networks to act as international ambassadors for Palestine.
● Reinforcing economic resistance through total boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) against Israeli and Zionist-linked entities.
● Malaysia’s voice must remain steadfast and uncompromising: no peace can be built on genocide, no reconstruction can occur under occupation, and no justice can exist without liberation.
The Long Battle Ahead
The war for Gaza is not over—it has merely entered a new phase. The battlefield now extends to the realm of public opinion, international law, economic systems, and global morality. Israel’s weapon is force; Palestine’s weapon is truth.
In the end, truth endures longer than any missile. The Palestinian resistance embodies not merely the struggle for land but for human dignity itself. As history has shown—from Vietnam to South Africa—no power built on oppression can last forever.
Israel may have won this round of war, but it has lost the moral war that defines the course of history.
Conclusion
From the ashes of Gaza rises not defeat, but defiance. From the blood of martyrs emerges not despair, but determination. The Palestinian cause today has become a rallying cry for justice, freedom, and humanity.
Let it be known to the world: Israel may have won the war, but it has lost the battle for the soul of humanity.
And as long as there remains one mosque standing, one voice crying out for justice, and one heart that refuses to forget Gaza—the struggle for Palestine will continue until freedom prevails.
