Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) condemns in the strongest and clearest terms the latest revelations confirming that Israel has systematically used weapons of extreme thermal destruction in Gaza, weapons that erase human bodies and leave families without even the dignity of a burial.
An in depth investigation by Al Jazeera published on 10 February 2026 documents how United States supplied thermal and thermobaric munitions were deployed in Gaza, generating temperatures exceeding 3,500 degrees Celsius and causing nearly 3,000 Palestinians to simply disappear.
Not killed in the conventional sense. Not buried. But chemically obliterated.
This is not rhetoric. This is forensic reality.
Civil Defence teams in Gaza have recorded 2,842 Palestinians who have “evaporated” since October 2023, based on methodical site verification, survivor testimony, and biological traces such as blood spray and fragments of flesh.
These are not estimates or propaganda figures. They are names without bodies.
Mothers without graves. Children without shrouds.
The investigation confirms the use of internationally prohibited weapons including MK-84 bombs, BLU-109 bunker busters, and GBU-39 glide bombs.
These weapons are designed to incinerate everything within enclosed spaces while leaving structures standing. They burn, suffocate, and vaporise human tissue within seconds.
This is industrial scale annihilation.
Let it be stated with moral clarity:
This brutality goes beyond warfare.
It goes beyond occupation.
It goes beyond crimes against humanity.
It is the calculated erasure of human existence.
Israel’s conduct in Gaza is the conduct of a terrorist state.
A state that deploys weapons it knows cannot distinguish between combatants and children.
A state that uses heat, pressure, and chemical reactions to make people vanish. A state that destroys not only life, but memory, mourning, and dignity.
Yet Israel does not act alone.
MAPIM holds the United States and Western suppliers morally and legally complicit.
These weapons do not appear by accident. They are manufactured, licensed, transported, and replenished with full knowledge of their effects.
This makes the genocide in Gaza a global crime, enabled by power, protected by veto, and sanitised by silence.
International justice has collapsed before the suffering of Gaza.
Despite provisional measures by the International Court of Justice and arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court, the killing has continued through bombardment, starvation, siege, and denial of medical aid.
This is not a failure of evidence. It is a failure of will. It is the exposure of a system that protects perpetrators and abandons victims.
MAPIM therefore demands:
●Immediate international action to halt all military, logistical, and financial support to Israel.
● Prosecution of Israeli leaders and all complicit actors under universal jurisdiction laws.
● An independent international tribunal specifically mandated to investigate the use of thermal and thermobaric weapons in Gaza.
● Full protection and access for forensic investigators, medical teams, and humanitarian agencies.
● Recognition of Israel as a rogue and terrorist state that has forfeited any claim to moral legitimacy.
To the families who ask, “Where did they go?”
The world owes you an answer.
And more than that, the world owes you justice.
Silence now is not neutrality.
It is participation.
