About MAPIM Malaysia
- At MAPIM Malaysia, we believe no one should suffer in silence. From the flood-hit villages in Malaysia to communities in need, we go where the cries are loudest — and we answer with action.
- We are more than just an NGO. We are a movement of mercy, built by ordinary people doing extraordinary things — feeding the hungry, healing the wounded, and restoring dignity where it’s been lost.
With every donation, every prayer, and every step into the field, we carry hope to those who need it most. Because at MAPIM, we don’t just respond to disasters — we rise with humanity.

The Inspiring Journey of MAPIM
2006A Vision Born from Compassion
In 2006, a group of passionate individuals came together, driven by a single purpose: to serve humanity through compassion and unity. Their vision was clear—to uplift the marginalized, to give a voice to the voiceless, and to restore dignity to those stripped of hope. This vision gave birth to MAPIM, a coalition of Islamic NGOs united by faith and a relentless commitment to social justice.
2012Building a Foundation of Hope
MAPIM was officially registered as an NGO on October 29, 2012, marking a commitment to support humanity under the leadership of President Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid and CEO Dato' (Dr.) Sani Araby Al-Kahery.
2015Answering the Call of Humanity
MAPIM responded swiftly to global crises, providing emergency relief, medical aid, and educational support in conflict and disaster areas, earning a reputation for dedication and courage.
2019Innovation for a Brighter Future
In 2019, MAPIM launched Malaysia’s first double-decker mobile clinic to provide healthcare to underserved communities and initiated development projects to offer shelter, jobs, and economic opportunities to rebuild lives.
2025Sustaining the Legacy of Love
Amid ongoing global challenges, MAPIM has consistently delivered disaster relief and solidarity missions, embodying resilience and compassion. Today, they stand as a symbol of hope and dignity, proving that kindness can inspire widespread empathy.
