“Among the believers are men true to what they pledged to Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance] and has not changed [his promise] in the least.” (Surah Al-Ahzab: 23)
With profound sorrow and unwavering pride, the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) extends its deepest condolences to the Palestinian people, the Arab and Islamic nations, and all free people of the world on the martyrdom of esteemed government leaders in Gaza who were brutally assassinated by Israeli airstrikes.
Among the martyrs are:
- The great martyr Issam Al-Da’lis – Head of Government Follow-up
- Martyr leader Counselor Ahmed Al-Hatta – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice
- Martyr leader Major General Mahmoud Abu Tufa – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior
- Martyr Commander Major General Bahjat Abu Sultan – Director General of the Internal Security Service
These heroic leaders were killed alongside their families and hundreds of other innocent Palestinians in yet another horrific crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces.
A LEGACY OF SACRIFICE AND SERVICE
These martyrs dedicated their lives to the service of their people, working tirelessly to alleviate suffering and uphold justice amid one of the most brutal genocides in modern history. Their leadership in the face of unimaginable adversity has set an example of unwavering faith, resilience, and dedication to the Palestinian cause.
Their martyrdom will not weaken the Palestinian resolve. Instead, it will strengthen the determination of their people to resist oppression, uphold justice, and fight for the liberation of their homeland.
MAPIM STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE
We reaffirm our unwavering support for the people of Gaza and their legitimate struggle against occupation and genocide. The assassination of government officials is yet another war crime committed by Israel, with full backing from the international powers that continue to shield its crimes from accountability.
We call on the international community, human rights organizations, and world leaders to:
- Condemn and hold Israel accountable for its deliberate targeting of government officials and civilians.
- Demand an immediate ceasefire and end to Israel’s systematic war of extermination.
- Support Palestinian resistance and their right to self-defense against colonial occupation.
- Mobilize humanitarian aid and political action to stand with Gaza in this critical time.
To the martyrs, we say: Your sacrifice will not be in vain. Your struggle will be honored. Your people will be victorious.
May Allah accept them among the righteous and grant victory to the oppressed.
