Open Letter to
Donald Trump
President of The US
TRUMP* – YOUR OWN PEOPLE ARE RISING AGAINST YOU – *STOP MEDDLING AND INSTIGATING UNREST IN IRAN
Mr Donald Trump
At a time when your own society is deeply fractured, with growing protests, racial tension, economic anxiety, and political polarisation across the United States, your continued attempts to instigate unrest in Iran expose a familiar and dangerous pattern: exporting crisis instead of resolving it at home.
The people of the United States are demanding dignity, justice, and accountability.
Yet instead of listening to your own citizens, you choose to interfere in the internal affairs of another sovereign nation, encouraging instability under the false banner of “freedom”.
Let us be clear.
- Incitement Is Not Democracy
Calling on Iranians to rise, protest, or destabilise their country from the outside is not support for human rights.
It is foreign interference, pure and simple.
History has already judged such actions.
From the Middle East to Latin America, externally driven unrest has brought
- chaos, not democracy
- destruction, not dignity
- suffering, not freedom
Iran, like any nation, must address its internal challenges without coercion, sanctions warfare, or regime change agendas imposed from abroad.
- Hypocrisy Undermines Any Moral Claim
You cannot credibly speak of freedom while
- suppressing dissent at home
- criminalising protest
- tolerating systemic racism
- endorsing Islamophobia and xenophobia
- shielding allies who commit war crimes
A leader who ignores injustice within his own borders forfeits any moral authority to lecture others.
3 . The Real Agenda Is Destabilisation, Not Solidarity
Your rhetoric toward Iran mirrors the same strategy used elsewhere:
provoke unrest, escalate tension, then justify sanctions, isolation, or military pressure.
This is not concern for the Iranian people.
This is geopolitical manipulation, designed to serve power interests, not human lives.
The world has seen this script before, and the cost has always been paid by ordinary people.
- The Region Needs De-escalation, Not Provocation
At a moment when the Middle East is already bleeding from war, siege, and displacement, further incitement risks
- regional instability
- sectarian escalation
- economic collapse
- wider conflict
Responsible leadership demands restraint, diplomacy, and respect for sovereignty, not megaphone politics and manufactured outrage.
5 A Direct Message
Mr Trump
If you truly care about freedom, begin at home.
If you claim to respect democracy, stop undermining it abroad.
If you speak of peace, cease fuelling chaos.
The people of Iran do not need your incitement.
The people of the world do not need another engineered crisis.
What humanity needs now is accountability, humility, and an end to imperial meddling.
History is watching.
So are the victims of past interventions.
And so are your own people.
Enough is enough.
Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid
President MAPIM
