Kuala Lumpur | 24 February 2026
A major public rally in solidarity with Palestine and in defence of global peace will be held on Friday, 13 March 2026, immediately after Jumaat prayers at Masjid Tabung Haji, Kuala Lumpur, followed by an anti war march towards the United States Embassy.
The rally is organised jointly by Malaysian NGOs, civil society organisations and political parties in a united humanitarian and moral stand against injustice, occupation and war escalation in the Middle East.
The gathering aims to mobilise at least 10,000 participants to send a clear message that
Malaysians stand firmly in solidarity with the Palestinian people, particularly the victims of ongoing atrocities in Gaza, and in defence of the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque and Al Quds, which continue to face violations and threats.
The rally also expresses deep concern over the rising tensions and military escalation targeting Iran, which risks triggering a wider regional conflict with devastating global consequences. The organisers stress that war will only bring further suffering to innocent civilians and destabilise international peace and security.
Participants will march peacefully from Masjid Tabung Haji to the United States Embassy to deliver a memorandum urging global powers to:
end support for aggression and war policies
uphold international law and human rights
stop military escalation in the region
ensure accountability for crimes committed in Gaza
protect the sanctity of Al Aqsa Mosque
The organisers emphasise that the rally will be conducted peacefully, responsibly and in accordance with Malaysian laws.
All Malaysians who believe in justice, humanity and peace are invited to participate, including youth groups, religious leaders, workers organisations, humanitarian activists and concerned citizens.
This mobilisation reflects the conscience of humanity and the collective voice of Malaysians who reject oppression and war.
“Justice for Gaza. Protect Al Aqsa. Stop the War.”
