PROTEST AGAINST PARTITIONING OF AL AQSA MOSQUE

We expressed our great concern on the news that the Israeli occupation authorities have already started partitioning Al-Aqsa Mosque.

This was revealed by the head of the Jerusalem Committee at the Palestinian Parliament, MP Ahmed Abu Halabiyeh reported in Quds Press.

It is dangerous that if this is not halted the Israeli occupation authorities will proceed in its plan to complete their control over Al-Aqsa Mosque and make Jerusalem a Jewish city.

The OIC must act before it is too late. The spatial partitioning of Al-Aqsa Mosque has been planned for years.

Now they are targeting the eastern area of Al-Aqsa Mosque to build synagogues and perform their rituals.

This is completely against the international resolutions and agrrement between Jordan and israel. It will be a nail in the coffin for the already fractured negotiation for peace.

All Muslims should not comprise in any of the area of Al Aqsa to be divided either by space nor by time.

We refer to the false argument that the Jews claim the eastern area, including Al-Rahma prayer area and the Dome of the Rock as their qibla.

What the Jews are ultimately targetting is to dominate all of the areas of the mosque and will commence the building of their so-called 3rd Mount temple.

We remind the OIC which was established in 1969 exactly for the reason of protecting the sanctity of Al Aqsa that unless a firm action is taken then the very existence of OIC is in question.

OIC , has , since its presence fail to function in stopping the advancement of the Jews to occupy Al Aqsa.

Now , the banning of Muslims to reach Al-Buraq Wall, the Western Wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque aims to tighten the Jewish control over Al-Aqsa Mosque.

We see no option but to stop the dangerous move by the Israeli measures. Muslims must stand up and protect Al Aqsa.

It is clear that the Jews wants to wipe out Palestinians from their homes.

The Israeli occupation is targeting the Old City of Jerusalem and to clear the area from Palestinian residents.

It is regretful that the Jordanian guardianship over the holy sites in Jerusalem is loosening. We protest vehemently that the partioning of the Al Aqsa will never be tolerated .

To facilitate the Israeli control over the old city , will never be tolerated and a strong resistence should be launched.
