The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns Israel’s blatant violation of the ceasefire by launching a massive wave of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. This unprovoked aggression has targeted homes, hospitals, and shelter schools, causing a rising number of civilian casualties, including women and children.
For the past 17 days, Gaza has been under a total blockade, with Israel preventing the entry of food, water, fuel, and medical supplies. The latest escalation proves that Israel is determined to continue its genocide against the Palestinian people without any regard for international law.
WORLD MILITARY INTERVENTION IS NEEDED NOW
The time for mere condemnation is over. MAPIM calls on the United Nations (UN), the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, and all world powers to immediately launch a military intervention to stop Israel’s massacres and protect the 2.3 million civilians trapped in Gaza.
MAPIM DEMANDS THE FOLLOWING URGENT ACTIONS:
- Deployment of International Peacekeeping Forces – The UN and Muslim nations must send military forces to defend Gaza’s civilians from ongoing Israeli attacks.
- Immediate Ceasefire Enforcement – The international community must force Israel to stop its aggression immediately.
- Lifting of the Siege – All restrictions on food, medical aid, and humanitarian relief must be lifted to prevent further suffering.
- Legal Action Against Israel – The International Criminal Court (ICC) must prosecute Israel’s leaders for war crimes and genocide.
- Severe Diplomatic and Economic Sanctions on Israel – Nations worldwide must sever diplomatic ties and impose strict sanctions on Israel to pressure it into compliance with international law.
AN UNACCEPTABLE ATROCITY DURING RAMADAN
MAPIM strongly denounces this barbaric assault during the sacred month of Ramadan, when Muslims worldwide are devoted to worship and reflection. The international community cannot allow Israel to continue its massacres with impunity.
The world is witnessing a genocide in real time. If global leaders fail to act now, history will remember their complicity. Gaza needs immediate protection – words are no longer enough.
