TRUMP’S “BOARD OF PEACE” IS A BOARD OF OCCUPATION
Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) strongly condemns the so called “Board of Peace” announced by former US President Donald Trump as a dangerous political construct that does not represent peace, but institutionalizes occupation, injustice, and permanent domination over the Palestinian people.
This initiative is not designed to end the Israeli occupation. It is crafted to legitimize it. It repackages control and dispossession under the false language of diplomacy and security.
Peace cannot be built on the ruins of Gaza.
Peace cannot be negotiated over mass graves.
Peace cannot be dictated by those who arm the occupier and shield war crimes.
A Structure Without Legitimacy
The so called board:
excludes Palestinians as equal political subjects,
denies their right to self determination,
legitimizes territorial theft and settler expansion,
protects Israeli impunity through political cover,
silences international law by replacing it with coercive power.
This is not a peace process.
It is a management system for domination.
Peace Without Justice Is a Lie
There can be no peace where homes are erased, children are buried under rubble, holy sites are violated, refugees are denied return, and a people are told to accept erasure as stability.
This board is not a bridge to peace.
It is a mechanism to normalize apartheid.
The World Must Reject This Fraud
MAPIM calls upon:
●the United Nations and international legal bodies to reject imposed solutions,
●Muslim nations and the Global South to refuse participation in this political deception,
●civil society and faith based movements worldwide to stand for justice and accountability.
●The future of Palestine must be determined by Palestinians themselves, not by empires and occupiers.
Peace is not silence.
Peace is justice, dignity, and freedom.
