RELEASE POLITICAL DETAINEES AND PROSECUTE KILLERS OF KASHMIR YOUTH

We demand that India release all political detainees of Kashmir and prosecute armies of the Indian occupation forces involved in killing civilians and youth.

The recent release of prominent Kashmiri politician , the former Chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir , Mehbooba Mufti, detained by Indian authorities for nearly 14 months following the revocation of the region’s autonomy last year , must follow with the release of other detainees who are incarcerated for dissent against the Indian occupation.

We take particular concern the detained Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, who has gone through immense inhuman torture and is still cut off from any communication. He has been held in custody under brutal torture of the Indian authority.

The fear that Malik is next in line to be “judicially murdered” by India’s right-wing government to further their political gains. In 1984, JKLF founder Maqbool Bhat was sent to the gallows by the Indian fascist government.

Kashmiri political detainees, are now facing a judiciary that bypasses all rules laws and guidelines, according to Faizan Bhat, a Kashmir-based independent researcher.

Meanwhile, Malik’s deteriorating health in jail during a global coronavirus pandemic has also added to the woes of his family.

“He has cardiological issues. Due to interrogations by security agencies, his heart valve had to be replaced. The current pandemic and poor conditions in jail worry us more,” a family member said to reporters.

We condemn the Kashmir leaders arrested under the country’s Public Safety Act (PSA) after the federal government in August 2019 abrogated Article 370 of the Indian constitution.

We are seriously concern on the barbaric Indian forces for martyring the innocent youth in the Indian Occupied Valley.

The killing of two Kashmiri Youth in Rambagh area of Srinagar is a clear signal of genocidal intend by India to decimate the Muslim population of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The killings must stop and we demand the prosecution of the Indian officials involved in the murder operation.

We extend our solidarity with the indigenous movement for inalienable right of right to self-determination.

The world community cannot keep silent on the targeting and torturing of innocent Kashmiris on the pretext of fake search and cordon off operations.

The silence has now resulted in the martyr of 211 Kashmiri people since January this year.

The atrocities recorded 44 women gang-raped incidents took place during this period.

We are perplexed by the human right organizations and world powers keeping silent and taking no heed on the huge human rights violation continuing in Jammu Kashmir .

We remind the world that unless the barbarism of fascist India is not curtailed the agenda of change demography will be a new reality in Jammu and Kashmir.

The apartheid agenda of sidelining the Muslims as well as Sikh communities from jobs, education and other facilities will create an unending tension amongst the indigeinous people of Kashmir.

Discriminatory moves further intensified the sense of alienation among the people of other communities.

We call the United Nation to cease their criminal silence on the deteriorating human rights situation and unabated war crimes by the Indian occupation forces in the valley.

The UN charter and resolutions must be enforced to end the impunity by India in Jammu and Kashmir.
