Citizens International strongly condemns the assassination of Iran’s nuclear scientist

Citizens International strongly condemns the assassination of Iran’s nuclear scientist Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh by Israeli agents with the support of US intelligence agencies.

This act of terrorism is intended to frustrate any initiative that the newly elected US President Joe Biden may
take to improve relations with Iran.

The assassination coming a few days after Netanyahu’s “secret” visit to Saudi Arabia to meet Prince Mohamed bin Salman and persuade him to support a US attack on Iran, as reported in the media, is significant.

Was Saudi intelligence agency involved in the killing of Fakhrizadeh?

Israel is a terrorist state born in the womb of terrorism.

Just four months after its birth, the UN Security Council mediator in the Arab-Israeli conflict, Count Folke Bernadotte was assassinated by Zionist terrorists on 17 September 1948 because his proposal, if accepted, would spell the death
of the Zionist project for a Jewish state in Palestine.

After the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 181 to partition Palestine into two states, the Zionists launched a campaign of terror, murder and rape to expel the Palestinians from their homeland since time immemorial.

Hundreds of thousands – women, men, children and the aged, were forcibly removed from their homes to refugee camps.

Israel still continues to terrorise the
Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

In the last 10 years, Israel has targeted 10 scientists in the hope that it would prevent Iran’s science and technological development.

Iran, despite the cruel sanctions imposed by the US and Israel’s terrorist activities, has grown stronger over the years and has become a regional power through its
own efforts.

Unlike the Arab states ruled by dictators and autocratic rulers who are rushing to establish relations with Apartheid Israel, Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian struggle
has won the hearts of millions of people who value freedom and justice.

We call on the UN Security Council, and member states of the UN, to condemn the cowardly terrorist act and to help Iran to track down the perpetrators of this vile crime and their masters.

We convey our deepest condolences to the family of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
