MAPIM Calls OIC Intervention to Defend Muslim Waqf Properties in India

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM), together with all Malaysian Islamic organizations, expresses its absolute and unreserved condemnation of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s outrageous and imperialistic statement that the United States will “take over” and “own” Gaza in a so-called redevelopment plan.
This statement is not only deeply offensive but a direct assault on Palestinian sovereignty, international law, and fundamental human rights. The world must reject such blatant colonial ambitions, which mirror historical occupations and oppressions inflicted upon vulnerable nations by global superpowers.
Gaza Is Not for Sale – No Foreign Power Has the Right to Control It !
Trump’s reckless and arrogant remarks expose a dangerous neo-colonial agenda aimed at robbing the Palestinian people of their rightful homeland. Any attempt to “own” Gaza is nothing less than a form of modern-day occupation, disguised under the false pretense of redevelopment. This is not humanitarian aid; it is an aggressive ploy to tighten foreign control over Palestinian land, resources, and governance.
For decades, Gaza has been under brutal Israeli siege, bombed relentlessly, and deprived of basic human necessities. Instead of calling for an end to Israeli war crimes and genocide, Trump and his allies are now openly plotting to seize control of Palestinian territory under the guise of reconstruction. We categorically reject this illegal, immoral, and imperialist scheme.
We Demand to the Global Community
1.Immediate and categorical rejection of any U.S. or foreign takeover of Gaza. The Palestinian people alone have the right to determine their own future.
2.United Nations and the OIC must intervene The UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation must urgently respond to this threat and prevent any attempts at external control over Palestinian land.
3.The Malaysian government must take a firm stand. Malaysia must lead diplomatic efforts to denounce and block any foreign-imposed plans that undermine Palestinian sovereignty.
4.Full accountability for Israeli war crimes.The international focus must remain on ending the Israeli occupation, lifting the illegal siege, and ensuring justice for Palestinian victims, not allowing new powers to impose their dominance.
No Nation Has Right To Own Another People !
Trump’s statement is not just words—it is a dangerous indication of imperialist ambitions that must be stopped before they manifest into actions. The world must send a clear message: Gaza is not a prize to be claimed, nor a colony to be governed by foreign interests. Gaza belongs to Palestine, and Palestine belongs to its people.
MAPIM and all Malaysian Islamic organizations stand unwavering in solidarity with the people of Palestine. We will continue to resist all forms of occupation, colonization, and foreign control over Muslim lands.
End the Siege. End the Occupation. Free Palestine.
