The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) calls on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to immediately seek to execute the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz for their war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israel’s Leaders Must Be Held Accountable
For decades, Netanyahu and Gantz have orchestrated genocidal military campaigns against the Palestinian people, committing grave violations of international law, including:
● Mass Killings of Civilians – Indiscriminate bombings of hospitals, refugee camps, schools, and residential areas, murdering thousands of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
● Use of Starvation as a Weapon – Imposing a total blockade on food, water, and medical supplies, causing mass hunger and dehydration.
● Ethnic Cleansing & Forced Displacement – Expelling thousands of Palestinians from their homes to expand illegal Israeli settlements.
● Targeting of Medical & Humanitarian Workers – Attacks on ambulances, doctors, and journalists exposing the atrocities.
● Collective Punishment & Apartheid Policies – Systematic oppression, military occupation, and denial of basic human rights.
These war crimes violate the Geneva Conventions, UN resolutions, and international law—yet Israel continues to act with impunity, protected by Western allies, particularly the United States.
Why the Double Standards? ICC Must Act Now!
The ICC acted through Interpol to arrest former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte for alleged crimes—so why are war criminals Netanyahu and Gantz still free?
● Duterte was pursued for extrajudicial killings, but Netanyahu and Gantz have killed thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians in direct military campaigns—yet they roam freely.
● The ICC issued arrest warrants for African and Asian leaders, but when it comes to Israeli leaders committing genocide, the world remains silent.
● Selective justice undermines the ICC’s credibility—it must prove it is not a tool of Western political interests.
The ICC Must Fulfill Its Duty NOW!
We demand:
- Immediate arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gantz under charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
- Swift prosecution at The Hague, ensuring they face international justice for their actions.
- UN and international cooperation to enforce ICC rulings, preventing Israel from shielding its war criminals.
- Economic and political sanctions on Israel until it fully complies with international law. All ICC Members Must Enforce Arrest Warrants
We call on all ICC member states to:
1.Respect and uphold the ICC’s arrest decision with full commitment to international justice.
2.Take courageous and decisive action to support and assist in the execution of Netanyahu and Gantz’s arrests.
3 Prevent Israel’s war criminals from traveling freely by enforcing travel bans, asset freezes, and legal action.
4 Send a strong message that no leader is above the law, and genocide will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
No More Impunity – Justice for Palestine!
The world cannot allow double standards while millions suffer under Israeli apartheid and genocide. Netanyahu and Gantz must be arrested, tried, and convicted—just like any other war criminal. The ICC’s credibility is at stake—justice delayed is justice denied.
