ISRAEL’S BARBARISM UNCOMPARABLE – A Genocidal Assault on Humanity

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) expresses its deepest outrage and sorrow over yet another inhumane act committed by the Israeli occupation regime in Gaza. The airstrike that claimed the lives of nine of Dr. Alaa al-Najjar’s ten children while she was on duty treating victims at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis represents the apex of brutality, cruelty, and calculated genocide against the Palestinian people.

Dr. Alaa al-Najjar, a dedicated paediatrician committed to saving lives, returned to face the unspeakable horror of retrieving the charred bodies of her own children from the rubble. Her crime? Being Palestinian.

This tragedy, confirmed by international media and humanitarian witnesses, including British volunteer doctors, is not an isolated event. It is a part of a systematic campaign of ethnic cleansing and annihilation executed with impunity by the Israeli regime.

We categorically condemn :

1.The deliberate targeting of civilians, homes, and hospitals;

2.The consistent disregard for international humanitarian law and UN resolutions;

3.The hypocritical silence and complicity of Western powers that continue to arm and support Israel’s apartheid regime.

MAPIM asserts that this is not a war—this is a genocide. The massacre of the Najjar family is a testament to the moral bankruptcy of the Zionist regime. The targeting of children—innocent souls who posed no threat, who were asleep in their home—cannot be justified under any pretense of security or self-defense.

We echo the words of the UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese, who aptly described this as a “distinguishable sadistic pattern of the new phase of genocide.”

MAPIM Demands Immediate Global Action:

1. Immediate ceasefire and end to all Israeli military operations in Gaza.
2. The international community, OIC, and ASEAN must initiate legal proceedings against Israeli leaders at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
3. An emergency humanitarian intervention must be launched under UN mandate to prevent mass starvation and medical collapse in Gaza.
4. Malaysia and the Global South must sever all diplomatic and economic ties with the apartheid regime and mobilize an international boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaign.
5. An international tribunal must be established to prosecute war crimes committed in Gaza. A Call to the Ummah and Humanity

To the Muslim world, and to every person of conscience: We cannot be silent. We must rise. If we turn away now, we are complicit in the death of every child that follows.

Let the world remember Dr. Alaa al-Najjar not just as a grieving mother, but as a symbol of resilience, standing in the ashes of unimaginable loss, still serving her people.

Israel’s barbarism is uncomparably evil. Its occupation is unsustainable. Its crimes are unforgivable.

MAPIM will intensify its global campaign to mobilize the Ummah, civil society, and humanitarian forces to defend Gaza, expose the Israeli regime, and demand justice for Palestine.
