Whatever Happens to Sumud Flotilla, the People’s Movement to Free Palestine Will Not Cease
Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) stresses that the struggle to liberate Palestine is not tied to one mission, one fleet, or one action. The Sumud Flotilla, despite the risks it faces from Israeli aggression and the complicity of certain world powers, represents the moral courage of humanity against tyranny.
Whether the flotilla reaches Gaza or is obstructed by Israel’s illegal blockade, the people’s resistance will continue to rise. The movement to end the genocide in Gaza and to break Israel’s siege has now become global, unstoppable, and irreversible.
Israel’s war crimes, and the silence or collaboration of its allies, have only deepened the determination of civil society, humanitarian networks, and people of conscience worldwide. The more brutal the repression, the more widespread the solidarity.
MAPIM affirms:
- The struggle to free Palestine has now transcended borders and faiths – it is a universal cause of justice.
- Every attempt to suppress the people’s flotillas, protests, and boycott movements only proves Israel’s illegitimacy and moral bankruptcy.
- The resistance will not weaken – on the contrary, it will expand into stronger coalitions across continents.
The Sumud Flotilla is one wave among many in the rising tide of global resistance. The world is witnessing the collapse of the Zionist narrative, as more nations and peoples reject complicity in Israel’s crimes.
MAPIM calls on governments, international organizations, and civil societies to recognize this unstoppable force of the people and to join hands in isolating Israel and ending the occupation of Palestine.
The liberation of Palestine is not a question of if, but when.
