8th February 2026
Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) hereby announces the establishment of the Media Coalition for the Support of Al-Quds and Palestine – Malaysia , a national initiative to consolidate, strengthen, and mobilise media efforts in defence of truth, justice, and the rights of the Palestinian people.
The formation of this coalition comes at a critical moment when the genocide in Gaza, the ongoing occupation of Palestine, and the systematic violations at Al‑Quds are being normalised, distorted, or silenced through biased narratives, selective reporting, and political pressure on media institutions.
This coalition is a response to that moral failure.
