The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns Israel’s inhumane blockade of humanitarian aid into Gaza, a deliberate act that is pushing millions of Palestinians to the brink of starvation as Ramadan approaches.

Israel’s total blockade on humanitarian relief is a war crime, violating international humanitarian laws and the ceasefire agreement. Palestinians in Gaza now face extreme hunger and life-threatening conditions, with food, water, and medical aid completely cut off.

GLOBAL OUTRAGE & ISRAEL’S BETRAYAL OF CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT

Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan have denounced Israel’s actions as a blatant violation of international law, urging immediate intervention.

Israel has refused to enter phase two of the ceasefire deal, rejecting efforts to bring a permanent end to the war. Instead, it insists on a US-backed plan to prolong the first phase, which expired on Saturday.

With thousands already dead, Israel’s continued aggression and blockade amount to collective punishment—a crime against humanity.

MAPIM URGES MUSLIM NATIONS TO ACT NOW!

In response to this escalating crisis, MAPIM calls on:

1. All Muslim-majority nations to force entry into Gaza with humanitarian convoys, ensuring that food and medical aid reach the starving population before Ramadan.
2. The United Nations, OIC, and Arab League to take decisive action against Israel’s violations and impose severe diplomatic and economic consequences.
3. Muslim communities worldwide to mobilize and pressure their governments to act urgently in support of Gaza.

The world cannot remain silent while Israel weaponizes starvation against innocent civilians. This is not just a Palestinian crisis; it is a humanitarian catastrophe that demands immediate global intervention.
