MAPIM: INDIA MIRRORS ISRAEL’S OCCUPATION AGENDA — GLOBAL SILENCE IS COMPLICITY

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) expresses grave concern over the continued occupation of Kashmir by the Indian government, likening it to the Zionist regime’s policies in Palestine.

MAPIM strongly condemns the aggressive Hindutva-driven policies of the Modi regime that aim to fully subjugate and colonize Kashmir through military suppression, demographic engineering, and legal annexation. We emphasize that India is adopting Israel’s model of occupation, legitimizing land theft, and silencing native populations through brute force and state terror.

The endorsement by former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of India’s actions has emboldened the Hindutva agenda, creating a dangerous axis of apartheid, Islamophobia, and expansionism.

The abrogation of Article 370, the crackdown on civil liberties in Kashmir, and the settler-like policies are direct imports from the Zionist playbook.

MAPIM further declares :

India’s actions in Kashmir are not internal matters, but violations of international law and human rights.

The alliance between India, Israel, and certain Western powers is fuelling a global apartheid regime targeting Muslim populations.

The failure of international bodies to act is tantamount to complicity.

Call to Action:

MAPIM calls upon:

The Malaysian Government to lead a bold stance at the OIC and United Nations forums.

Muslim-majority countries to halt normalization with India and demand justice for Kashmiris.

Civil society worldwide to intensify advocacy, awareness, and boycott campaigns against state-sponsored Islamophobia.

MAPIM reaffirms that the struggle for Kashmir and Palestine are two fronts of the same battle against global injustice.

Just as we stand firm with Gaza, we must equally rise for Srinagar. The Ummah must notchoose silence in the face of tyranny,

MAPIM stands in unwavering solidarity with the oppressed. The voices of Kashmir shall not be silenced.
