ISRAEL DEFIES EVEN U.S. ORDERS – CONTINUES GENOCIDAL BOMBING OF GAZA IN TOTAL DISREGARD OF INTERNATIONAL LAW

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns the continued bombing and destruction of Gaza by the Zionist regime of Israel, despite the reported call from the United States for Israel to cease its military aggression. This reckless defiance exposes Israel’s absolute contempt for international law, human life, and even its own allies.
MAPIM asserts that Israel’s latest wave of airstrikes is not merely a “security operation,” but a continuation of genocide — a deliberate campaign to annihilate the people of Gaza, destroy its infrastructure, and erase its existence as part of Palestine.
The fact that Israel ignores even U.S. directives for restraint clearly demonstrates that the Zionist regime acts above all international norms — a rogue state protected by Western complicity and global inaction.
MAPIM stresses the following points:
- Israel’s bombing is an act of genocide and collective punishment. The systematic targeting of civilians, hospitals, schools, and shelters amounts to war crimes under the Geneva Conventions.
- The U.S. must be held equally accountable. For decades, Washington has armed, funded, and politically shielded Israel. Its failure to stop the current massacres makes the U.S. complicit in the genocide.
- The United Nations and the International Criminal Court (ICC) must immediately move beyond rhetoric to enforce international law. Sanctions, arrests, and prosecution of Israeli political and military leaders are long overdue.
- The global Ummah and civil society movements must intensify their mobilization — through boycotts, sanctions, and diplomatic isolation of Israel — until the siege is lifted and the occupation ends.
MAPIM calls this latest phase of the assault a final attempt by Israel to unilaterally annihilate Gaza — to destroy every vestige of Palestinian resistance and identity. Yet, history has shown that no amount of bombing can extinguish the will of an occupied people.
MAPIM reiterates:
“Israel’s bombs may destroy buildings, but they will never destroy the spirit of resistance.
Gaza stands as the moral fortress of humanity against tyranny.”
MAPIM urges all governments, faith communities, and peace-loving citizens worldwide to condemn Israel’s continued war crimes and to demand an immediate end to the bombing, a permanent ceasefire, and the prosecution of Israeli leaders for genocide.
