DEPLOY UN TROOPS NOW ! – ISRAEL’S GENOCIDE MUST BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY

The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns the continuing Israeli military aggression in Gaza despite the declared ceasefire.

According to official reports from Gaza’s Government Media Office (Press Release No. 1008 & 1009), the Israeli occupation forces have committed no fewer than 80 ceasefire violations since the announcement of the end of war — resulting in 97 martyrs and more than 230 wounded, including women and children.

These crimes include direct gunfire on civilians, bombardment of residential areas, “fire belt” executions, and drone targeting of civilians in multiple governorates across Gaza. Israeli tanks and war vehicles remain stationed at the outskirts of neighborhoods, while surveillance drones continue daily attacks on populated areas.

This proves that Israel has no intention of honouring the ceasefire and continues its genocidal campaign with impunity. The so-called truce has become a cover for Israel to continue killing, intimidating, and starving civilians.

MAPIM holds the Israeli occupation fully responsible for these grave breaches of international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions. Equally, we condemn the silence and inaction of the United Nations and guarantor states, which effectively embolden Israel to persist in its crimes.

MAPIM demands the following immediate actions:

1. Deployment of UN Peacekeeping Troops under Chapter VII of the UN Charter to protect civilians in Gaza and ensure enforcement of the ceasefire.
2. International investigation and prosecution of Israeli military and political leaders for war crimes and genocide.
3. Imposition of full sanctions on Israel, including arms embargoes and diplomatic isolation.
4. Urgent humanitarian intervention to open safe land corridors for aid and medical relief.

The situation in Gaza has entered a post-ceasefire genocide phase. Israel’s continued killings, arrests, and targeting of civilians after the ceasefire prove that it cannot be trusted in any peace process.

MAPIM calls upon the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Arab League, ASEAN, and all peace-loving nations to act collectively to end this genocide. The world cannot remain passive while the people of Gaza are being massacred under a false truce.

MAPIM reiterates: the only moral and lawful response now is international intervention. Deploy UN troops now — protect Gaza’s civilians before it is too late.
