ANWAR MUST STAND FIRM – END THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA; IMMEDIATELY STOP THE ATTACKS ON GAZA, THE WEST BANK, AND JERUSALEM
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) urges YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, to deliver a clear and principled position and to press for concrete action to:
- Immediately halt all military assaults on civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.
- End the blockade and ensure the opening of humanitarian corridors to allow safe and continuous delivery of food, medicine, construction materials, and protection for displaced civilians.
- Demand international legal protection for the Palestinian people and accountability for documented war crimes.
- Reaffirm Malaysia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian right to self-determination and reject any forced displacement, annexation, or “New Gaza” restructuring without the consent of the Palestinian people.
MAPIM emphasizes that meaningful international negotiations must place human security and dignity above political expediency. Malaysia must remain a strong moral voice at a time when humanity is being tested.

- Support Palestinian-led rebuilding efforts through scheduled fundraising, locally managed reconstruction funds, and technical support for hospital and school rebuilding.
- Empower public advocacy: disseminate verified facts, organize solidarity campaigns, and foster interfaith and civic partnerships to amplify moral pressure on world leaders.
