The Majlis Perundingan Pertubuhan Islam Malaysia (MAPIM) calls on Donald Trump to immediately halt the reckless military aggression against Iran that has now pushed the region and the world toward a dangerous and unnecessary crisis.
It is your choice that started the crisis. Now you are putting the blame on Iran.
Iran is not the party that wanted war. It is largely your low intelligence that has miscalculated and underestimated Iran’s capability. Your brutal military operation of killing the Supreme leader and hundreds of children and civilians that leaves no choice for Iran to take the necessary steps to pressure you and nations who are in complicit with your Zionist agenda
The military campaign carried out by the United States in coordination with Israel has ignited a wider conflict that now threatens regional stability, global security and the safety of millions of civilians.
The escalation of the war has already led to the disruption and effective blockade of the critical maritime corridor of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important global energy routes. This development has triggered severe concerns over global oil supply, economic instability and the risk of a wider regional war.
MAPIM stresses that this crisis did not arise spontaneously. It is the direct result of reckless military decisions and the pursuit of geopolitical agendas that prioritize power and domination over diplomacy and peace.
By launching attacks against Iran, the United States has opened the door to a conflict that now threatens to engulf the entire Middle East.
The consequences of such a war will not be confined to the region but will reverberate across the global economy and international security architecture.
MAPIM strongly believes that the current aggression reflects the dangerous influence of Israeli strategic interests that have pushed Washington toward a confrontation that serves neither the interests of global peace nor the stability of the international system.
The continued bombing and escalation will only deepen humanitarian suffering, destabilize global energy markets and increase the likelihood of a catastrophic regional war.
MAPIM therefore calls on President Donald Trump to exercise restraint and immediately halt all military operations against Iran.
The world cannot afford a reckless war driven by political arrogance and strategic miscalculation. Diplomacy, dialogue and respect for international law must prevail before the situation spirals into a full-scale global crisis.
The international community must act collectively to de-escalate the conflict and restore stability in the region.
