Israel mobilizes tens of thousands of reservists, expands its assault on Gaza
The Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organizations (MAPIM) strongly condemns the brutal and premeditated actions of the Zionist Israeli regime, which has mobilized tens of thousands of reservists to intensify its military onslaught on Gaza from multiple fronts. This massive offensive is taking place at a time when Gaza is already crippled — hospitals are running out of fuel, food supplies are blocked, and over two million civilians are trapped under siege without protection.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has warned that fuel reserves in hospitals will only last for three more days. The deliberate obstruction of humanitarian aid and the prevention of international agencies from accessing critical zones amount to blatant war crimes and constitute a gross violation of all humanitarian norms and international law.
MAPIM asserts that if Gaza is to face an even greater influx of occupying Israeli forces, it is imperative for Muslims in neighboring countries to consider launching jihad fi sabilillah to defend their oppressed brethren. This assault is not only an attack on the people of Palestine but a desecration of the collective dignity of the Ummah.
MAPIM hereby demands the following:
- The United Nations must convene an emergency session and deploy a humanitarian and monitoring mission to Gaza without delay.
- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) must move beyond rhetoric and initiate concrete actions — including political, economic, and military pressure — to halt this genocide.
- Muslim-majority countries, especially those bordering Palestine, must urgently consider direct intervention by all available means, including military support if necessary, to rescue Gaza from annihilation.
- Muslims worldwide must be fully mobilized — through prayer, protest, donation, and political pressure — to ensure that this massacre is not met with silence or inaction.
- MAPIM and its international partners will continue to escalate emergency aid efforts, diplomatic campaigns, and global mass mobilization initiatives in support of Gaza.
