Press Release
18th May 2025
To all Muslim Nation Leaders
URGENT CALL FOR IMMEDIATE MILITARY INTERVENTION TO STOP THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA
Tonight, the Zionist occupation forces have committed yet another unspeakable crime by bombing the tents of displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis. This brutal attack claimed the lives of at least 15 innocent people and injured dozens more. It is part of a relentless wave of massacres over the past 48 hours that has left over 300 Palestinians martyred, many of them women and children. This occurs in the context of a deliberate war of starvation, a total siege, and the systematic destruction of Gaza.
We, therefore, issue this urgent and unequivocal call to all Muslim nations, conscientious governments, and freedom-loving peoples of the world:
- Launch an Immediate and Decisive Military Intervention
- To establish a no-fly zone over Gaza.
- To deploy a multinational peace-enforcing force to stop the ongoing massacres.
- To break the siege of Gaza by land, sea, and air.
- To hold the Zionist entity accountable for war crimes and genocide under international law.
This is not a conflict—this is a genocide in full view of the world. Decades of political resolutions, condemnations, and humanitarian appeals have failed to stop the Zionist regime’s war machine. The time for action is now.
We demand:
- That the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) activate its defense clause and convene an emergency military summit.
- That Muslim-majority countries — including Türkiye, Iran, Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Arab states — initiate a joint military coalition to protect the Palestinian people.
- That international powers aligned with justice — including South Africa, Bolivia, Venezuela, and others — lend political and strategic support for such an intervention.
- That ports, airfields, and aid convoys be mobilized without delay to supply and support the resistance and rescue efforts in Gaza.
This is a moral obligation, a humanitarian necessity, and a legal right.
Inaction is complicity. Silence is betrayal. The blood of Gaza cries out — and the Ummah must respond.
Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid
President MAPIM
