*Heinous Crime Repeated – The. World is still Actionless
On the Massacre at Nasser Medical Complex, Gaza
The world has once again witnessed the barbarity of the Israeli occupation in its deliberate targeting of Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis — a sanctuary that should have been inviolable under every principle of international law. This massacre, which claimed the lives of 22 civilians including doctors, journalists, and rescue workers, is not an accident nor a “miscalculation.” It is part of a systematic strategy of annihilation, deception, and impunity.
The attempt by the occupation to justify this slaughter by fabricating the narrative of a so-called “camera target” is an insult to human conscience. The camera belonged to Reuters journalist Hussam al-Masri, who was killed in cold blood while broadcasting live. To murder a journalist on air, and then attempt to disguise the act as a “military operation,” is a crime of unspeakable cruelty — a direct assault on truth itself.
Even more heinous was the second deliberate strike, launched moments after first responders, civil defense teams, and fellow journalists rushed to rescue the wounded. This double-tap tactic is internationally prohibited and designed to maximize civilian casualties. It is a war crime in its purest, most undeniable form.
The occupation’s attempt to falsify the identities of martyrs by labeling them as “militants” is a recycled propaganda tool. The victims were not combatants. They were humanitarian workers, members of the press, and ordinary civilians, murdered while performing their sacred duties of saving lives and telling the truth.
This crime — like countless others — shatters the already broken moral claims of the occupation. Its repeated lies about hospitals and civilian infrastructure being used for military purposes are nothing but a cynical ploy to legitimize indiscriminate bombing. No credible evidence has ever been produced to support these claims, while the evidence of massacres grows daily in the rubble of Gaza’s hospitals, schools, and refugee camps.
We declare with absolute clarity:
The deliberate targeting of hospitals, doctors, journalists, rescue workers, and humanitarian staff constitutes grave breaches of the Fourth Geneva Convention and war crimes under the Rome Statute.
The massacre at Nasser Medical Complex is part of a broader genocidal campaign against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation is not only guilty of murder, but also of an ongoing campaign of deception, manipulation, and denial intended to erase accountability.
We demand:
- Immediate and independent international investigation into the Nasser Medical Complex massacre.
- The United Nations, the International Criminal Court, and human rights bodies to treat this crime as urgent evidence of genocide and crimes against humanity.
- All governments, especially those claiming to uphold human rights, to end their complicity, silence, and double standards.
- Sanctions, prosecution of Israeli war criminals, and international protection for medical facilities, journalists, and humanitarian missions in Gaza.
The massacre at Nasser Hospital will not be whitewashed by propaganda. The blood of doctors, journalists, and rescuers cries out for justice. The world must act — not tomorrow, not with words alone — but with decisive measures to end this reign of terror and to hold the occupation accountable before humanity itself is stripped of its last shred of dignity.
Justice delayed is complicity. Silence is betrayal.
